Our Church

Pine Grove Church is a group of ordinary people who live for a very extraordinary Savior. We seek to be a Spirit-filled community of faith, empowered by that same Spirit to serve our Lord, each other, our community and the world. We are committed to ministering the saving, sanctifying, and baptizing power of the Holy Spirit to whosoever will. Our goal is to let God's love shine forth from our hearts and lives, as Jesus has called us to be His reflection to the world.

Pine Grove is a part of the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee), the oldest classical Pentecostal denomination in the world.

Our Pastor John Earp and Family

Pastor John Earp came to Pine Grove in January 2006, along with his wonderful wife Jaime and kids, Chloe and Josiah. Little Gabriel and Grace Olivia are the newest additions to the family, being born June 14, 2007, and October 2, 2009, respectively.

Pastor John has been in ministry almost his whole life, being raised in a pastor's home and then surrendering to the call of ministry at the age of 23 after several years of gross sin and "running from the call," as he puts it.

Delivered from a lifestyle of drunkenness and debauchery at the time of this surrender to God, John has never looked back and has been sober by God's grace for 19 years now. During this time, he has served several churches as associate pastor, worship leader, and senior pastor. Brother John's greatest joy in life, and his abiding passion, is to see people saved and set free by the blood of Jesus from the power of sin and Satan, and to see them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. He seeks to tell it like it is and keep it simple in his preaching and teaching of God's word.
